The First iPod & Me
Yes folks, even President Bush has an iPod.
Received as a gift from his lovely twins, the Prez primarily uses his "tool for cool" during bike workouts. Since he is crazy busy leading the country, directing a war (Iraq ring a bell?), and revising policy, his aide downloads all the music for him.
So what music makes George all hot & sweaty? The following is a sample of his favorite artists. (Specific song titles have been withheld as a national security precaution.)

In summary, Mr. President listens to nothing produced after 1980. Like his agenda of compassionate conservatism, his iPod is in much need of updating.
That led me to ponder...what does my iPod say about ME? I generated a random list of songs (via "Party Shuffle" in iTunes), and these were the first five listed:

michele, i think it's safe to post the fact that his favorite song is 'centerfield' by john fogerty.
i'm guessing it's related to his younger days when his baseball coach just wouldn't put him in the lineup.
good thing his father bought him the texas rangers baseball team to make up for it.

The last paragrpah of that article sounded very much like an Apple iAd.
Joni Mitchell's a surprise, though I wouldn't be surprised if he'd transposed "Big Yellow Taxi" as a point-by-point environmental initiative. Check, check, check.

I like Alan Jackson and he's recent. Okay, country music is in general backward, but still, he's post 1980. Oh well. What do I know? I don't own an iPod or anything even like it.
