It's Not Easy Being Green
Ralph Nader will declare his run for presidency on this weekend's Meet The Press. While normally a Nader advocate, I can't say this decision is a good thing for anyone - especially Ralph.
With the 2000 Florida ballot debacle and leftist Howard Dean's recent disappointing dropout, anti-Bush liberals will be afraid to vote Green. Plus if (in my dream scenario) there's a Kerry/Edwards bill, the Democrats will have an extremely strong ticket - much stronger than the Gore/Lieberman campaign in 2000.
My prediction: Come November, Nader will be very disappointed.
