Simply Uncanny

Note the uncanny resemblance between actor/director Forest Whitaker and Olympic wrestler Rulon Gardner.
Any other famous race transcending look-alike pairs? Some say I resemble an asian Julia Stiles. It must be my incredible ballet skills.

Late Late Show With Amy Sedaris
Since Craig Kilborn announced his intention to step down as host of The Late Late Show on CBS, many have been speculating about possible candidates to fill his shoes. The latest (and greatest) rumor is that funnywoman Amy Sedaris is the frontrunner for this job.
Amy is best known for her role as Jerri Blank on the hit Comedy Central show Strangers With Candy, and has also made TV & movie guest appearances in Sex & The City, Elf, Maid in Manhattan and more. Not to mention, she is also an accomplished cupcake baker.
No doubt, she would add some diversity and much needed pizazz to the late night lineup. The question is: Will TV execs have the balls to hire a woman?

A New Bouncing Toy for Adults
Do you ever long for the days of your childhood, when you could play on the swings, or see-saw high in the air without reserve? Well, pogo manufacturers SBI Enterprises, along with pro skateboarder Andy MacDonald, aim to bring back that youthful feeling with the ultimate street toy: The Flybar 1200.
The Flybar is a pogo stick for adults who want to relive the thrill of the bounce, but are too big for the models sold at Toys 'R Us. What makes this contraption so great? The Flybar comes equipped with 12 separate thrusters, which allow you to control the variability of the spring and the height of your bounces. Anyone from 80 to 250 lbs. can pogo with this stick, with a maximum jump height of 5 feet! With this extension, the creativity potential - on what was once a very simple toy - is extremely high.
The only setback is the cost. While the product isn't being officially released until September 15th, you can pre-order it at Amazon.com for a whopping $299.99. Go gadget hounds go!

Wooo Hoo!!! Metallica Rules!!!
Drama, comedy, tension, rehab...you'll see it all in the revealing documentary Metallica: Some Kind Of Monster. For lack of better words, THIS FILM ROCKED!
While the movie captures the recording process for their St. Anger album, there is so much more. You'll also see...Metallica endure band therapy! James Hetfield: Alcoholic and Family Man! Lars' new age hillbilly dad! The search for a Jason Newsted bassist replacement! And of course, what Metallica movie would be complete without a few "What the F#@k?!" speeches from Lars himself?! Check it out! You really don't need to be a Metallica fan to enjoy this film.
Upon seeing this movie, I was reminded of a hilarious '70s sign language manual I came across awhile ago. If you scroll down the page, you'll see the signs for Wooo Hoo!!! Metallica Rules!!! and Metallica Is Okay. However, I tend to think you'll find some other "gestures" more enjoyable...
